QuiztoGuide runs the quizzes and guides on quiztoguide.com. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you ask us to send you a guide.
- Your quiz answers and result, so we can send tips that fit it.
- Ad information, if you arrive from an advertisement: an identifier for the click, and which ad and placement showed it. This arrives in the link you followed.
- Standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, and time of visit, kept by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
How we use it
- To send the guide you asked for.
- To send follow-up emails with tips and offers for our own products.
- To learn which quizzes and ads are useful, so we can improve them.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Email and unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click stops all further emails. You can also write to hello@quiztoguide.com and we will remove you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your email address. We use a small number of companies to run the site, and they handle information on our behalf:
- EmailOctopus stores our mailing list and delivers our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from abuse.
- Stripe processes payments if you buy something. You enter your card details on Stripe's page. We never see or store your card number.
Advertising measurement. If you arrive from an ad on the PropellerAds network, we send back to PropellerAds the click identifier it gave us, along with the fact that you started the quiz, finished it, or signed up. This lets us see which ads work. We do not send PropellerAds your email address or your quiz answers.
Cookies
We do not set advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set a cookie that is needed for security.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address and quiz result until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. From time to time we remove subscribers who have not opened our emails for a long period.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@quiztoguide.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their email address, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
